Understanding Insurance Coverage

for Foot and Ankle Care

At Dr. Jon Williams’ podiatry office in Camarillo, we believe quality foot care should be accessible, and that starts with understanding your insurance coverage. Whether you're dealing with chronic foot pain, ankle discomfort, or other painful conditions, your insurance may cover much—if not all—of your treatment.

Accepted Insurance Plans

We are pleased to accept a wide range of insurance providers, making it easier for you to get the expert care you need. Our office currently accepts:

  • Blue Cross (our most commonly used plan)
  • Blue Shield
  • Aetna
  • Medicare

These plans typically cover many podiatric conditions, especially those involving foot and ankle pain, structural issues, or inflammation. From plantar fasciitis to tendonitis, insurance providers often recognize the medical necessity of professional foot care and will cover evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment.

Important Insurance Notes

While we accept many major PPO insurance plans, we do not accept HMO plans or Medicaid at this time. However, if you’re unsure about your coverage, our friendly front office staff are happy to verify your benefits before your visit.

What Insurance Typically Covers

Most insurance plans provide coverage for:

  • Heel or arch pain
  • Ingrown toenails
  • Sports injuries
  • Diabetic foot concerns
  • Chronic ankle instability
  • Custom Orthotics
  • And more

Coverage may vary depending on your plan, deductible, and medical necessity, but our team will help you navigate those details with clarity and transparency.

If you’re experiencing foot or ankle pain, don’t delay care. Contact Dr. Jon Williams’ office today to schedule your appointment and let us help you take the first (covered) step toward lasting relief.
